When we're talking about benzodiazepines, we're talking about all the lovely ladies whose generic names end in "pam." Valium, Xanax and Klonopin, to name a few, are very popular with the party set since they can be useful when it's time to come down and sleep is essential. They also can prove to be pretty addictive pretty fast, particularly if used for something other than what they're meant to treat, which is garden-variety anxiety.
